A Sunday morning chuckle.

...meanwhile back at this ranch: mice. Dangit. I had to break up the goose box// nest and call it compost, due to the little mouse I saw on the lower rung of the fence two days ago. Today, I found a few mice scattering away as I broke up the goose nest. I've moved the nest another location and my geese are getting used to changing direction of travel at the end of the day.

Today would be a great day for an unexpected hawk/ raptor. A mouse raptor. Or a CAT.

That is a good looking boy. Wish he was in my barnyard. The girls are so wanting a guy in their lives.

Goose Goose -- around here there is a group who traps feral / barn cats and neuter/spay them, microchip them and then find homes for them as barn cats (explcitly NOT as a house cats) -- maybe there is something like that around where you are?
