Wanted to post this on your "Run" post, but I think you turned the comments off there (probably a good idea... damn trolls). Anyway, a thought for you:

Success is not final.
Failure is not fatal.
It is the courage to continue that counts.

Just read the run post, that was well said but I don't think you need to label yourself as anything. Your Jenna. An artist writer farmer music maker. All the things you do that's Jenna. Or maybe it's Jill of all trades. Your a creator.

Liked the run post, also think you don't need a label.

A man I was dating asked me when we first met....'answer me this, who are you?'.
I replied.. 'I'm a 35yo woman'.
He said ...'Great, most folks cite their occupation first and that is only a small part of who you are.'

Despite what I thought was a good beginning, he didn't last long in my life for many reasons, but that has always stuck with me as a good thing.

Jenna, I have read 2 of your books. Loved them! I was at Mother Earth news fair on April 2, in Asville, NC. Your last 2 books were there at the Mother Earth book store. I spotted then right away! I thought that was awesome! How about doing guest speaker jobs, and do a book signing afterwards? Might boost interest and book sales. Keep up the fight. Life just is...

We will never be "done" with you, Jenna! You have won our need to have a label or to "produce" so that we will care about you or what you are are loved and that's that, dearie!

You have authored books and you author this blog and are working on other projects, including Birchthorn, all of which continue to qualify you as an author. If you've done something at some point no one can take that away from you or say that you aren't that anymore (well, we know they can but those people have small sad lives and most likely have not authored or made anything themselves...)

I also love running and it calms my lizard brain like nothing else. Even though I'm large and slow and probably look silly, I don't care--I feel awesome while doing it and afterwards, and that's all that really matters to me.

I couldn't comment on your RUN post so I'll post it here.

The story right now IS the mortgage.

The truest statement. Now stop calling it a failure, because like attracts like. Get up and run and think only of success.

Back to work.

Where can I purchase your books? The link on your blog sidebar goes to Indie but nothing comes up for you.
