i'm the happiest girl in new york!

I came home to this little ewe with her mother, the 2-year old ewe who abandoned Matt last year. Now we have another little bath matt, a freaky little curly-haired ewe lamb with a full belly, bright eyes, and with her mother in the field. Well done, Mama!

And more on the way!

Congrats. Um... Non farmer question ... Why do you call it a bath mat?

It's not a farmer reason! I call her and her older brother (who lives at Common Sense Farm) Bath mats because their coats are tight and white and curly, and look like a bath matt compared to the long muppet monster hair of a normal scottish blackface lamb!

Thanks all!

Sheep smoke pipes in tweed driving caps. Pigs smoke cigars. Horses chew. And goats do weeds.

What a great way to start lambing season!!!!! I am so happy for you! Can't wait to see what else you get soon. My last ewe had a little ewe lamb Saturday when I got home. So we are done. It's fun to see all this new life. Especially lambs.
