Love it...looks like a great time! Was told not to even bring up The Hunger Games with my class by my school's administration...we have a scrappy bunch with fights on the bus and recess whenever they can get them in and the book is deemed too violent…might inspire further altercations. So I'm sticking to Where the Red Fern Grows (which isn't exactly "violence free" either!).

Hi Jenna! I just wanted to stop by and say hello and to let you know that I just finished "Made from Scratch" and I LOVED it! I first heard about it on Storey's website and since my local library didn't carry it, I put it on my wishlist on, where I was literally 274th in line for this title!!

Luck of lucks, I happened upon a copy at my local thrift store {my lucky book thrift store as my hubby also found a pristine copy of my now favorite book The Complete Tightwad Gazette there a few years ago!} and sat down last night and devoured the whole book in about two hours. So glad to see that you also have a blog!

Can't wait to read more of your books!

ps... I now have the strangest desire to purchase a fiddle, a banjo and a dulcimer. And to teach my three dachshunds how to pull a wagon loaded with groceries. I will probably become an expert at playing all three instruments before the doxie thing happens. ;)

@peach too funny, I looked at my Doxie when I read MFS and decided that he likes his job of keeping my lap warm! Have you ever heard "Dixie the Tiny Dog"? An awesome song for the Dachshund owner.

I have no idea what the hunger games are? A Game cookbook? almost makes one yearn for the autumn mists before the spring ones have fled lol!
