I can see the pure joy on your face! They are beautiful! One day I would love to have some. However, I have only seen them up close at the fair and their size is very intimidating to me! I'd do better with a pretty "little" pony like jasper to start!

Wow, Jenna, you look like you have touched something very close, very old, and very familiar to you. I saw something a bit like that when I had caught my first stringer of bass and brought them home. My husband took the fileting knife away from me, hesitated a moment, and then proceeded to filet the fish like an old salt. He had never touched a fresh fish before. Chris is the blind guy. It was electrifying to watch him do that, as though he had been doing it for a lifetime.
I hope you will be spending more time with draft horses; it looks like you are meant to do this!
Best regards, Lynn

You look incredibly happy cool you connected with Patty. Steele looks like one handsome and gentle man. What a way to spend a Friday morning.

I was brought up with my cousin's horses and I have always loved riding and just being around horses. They can be so loyal and loving despite their intimidating size.

Jasper may be a bit (ok a lot) more hyper, but there is a lot less square footage to groom in the spring when the shedding starts! Steel looks wonderful, drafts have such a stately grace, and groundedness. Im not suprized you bonded with them being an earth type yourself. Enjoy. If you want to see another use for a Percheron check out its a fun read too.
