not yet, I have a three-month free lease to have trainers, vets, farriers, and other experts vet him out for me. I think that is plenty of time to ride, learn, and study him.

But, you do have to pay for boarding,no? What if he fails? Will you get recompensed? Three months is a long time- if he gets injured in boarding? Just saying...........

That is my risk to take. I am grateful and happy to take it.

No risk, no gain!

Interesting, I wouldn't have thought of a period of time to check out the possibility first. Learn something on here regularly.

Hope your 3 months goes well and his becomes yours. I'm sure you'll post lots of pictures so I won't bother to ask.

Not long now, and wonderful that you an have him on full trial before you have to part with a penny in purchase. You probably have visited it already, but here's a link to the Fell Pony Society here in the UK. Feast your eyes on these : )

That is a great way to do it. I had a total of four 1 month long trials of different horses before I found the perfect one. Two had health/temperment issues pop up that never would have shown on an initial vetting. Smart girl!
