Jenna, just looking at this I am still amazed that someone my age (I'm 28) has managed all this - a barn, a real little red barn, all your own, mortgage payment by mortgage payment. And you are getting through winter as well. Congratulations! you are such an inspiration.

Hi Jenna, I couldn't find an e-mail address for you, so this may be an odd comment for this post... I wanted to let you know that I subscribe to about 50 blogs through google reader. And I live in Madison, WI and have been a bit preoccupied this week, what with the governor trying to strip public employees of the right to bargain. I have two hundred un-read posts in my reader, but none of them are yours. In fact, I log on each night to read your posts as they are uplifting, funny and inspiring. Just what a Wisconsin bloggie needs this week. I just wanted to thank you. Thanks!

Jenna, *one* of my favorite things about your farm is all of the character it has. I LOVE all of the things hanging on the walls of the barn. :)

Gives true meaning to the phrase "cooped up." If my 11-year old was there he'd happily shovel out a little area for them to run around. Our own chickens, with our own little tiny bit of snow, benefited from his services.

Jenna, way off topic here, but can you give some advice? Friend of mine has a rabbit with bad diarrhea. It lives in her house with her, is old, has lost 2 teeth. Remedy for diarrhea? I've told her she needs to be merciful to it and have it put down, but she's 70 and airy-fairy and won't. Thanks.

KM: this was taken right after a snow fall a few weeks ago, it has since been shoveled.

Rabbit related: take bunny off pellets, just hay and water and cross your fingers
