visit my booth at the festival!

I'll be at the Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival! I applied for a booth and was approved. Come by and say hi at the Washington County Fairgrounds the weekend of Sept 25th & 26th. I'll be selling books, yarn, angora rabbits, farm antiques (maybe)and home-knit goods. I might also offer photography prints if I can get them made proper in time. It'll be a great fundraiser for the farm and who knows, if I'm really lucky the farm will cover the October mortgage. This is my first-ever festival and I'm excited to be selling my farm-wares for the inaugaral time in a public setting like this. More updates as they come, but for now just wanted you locals to save the date.

I have friends with a booth at that festival last year and they LOVED it. I hope it goes just as wonderfully for you!

That is so cool! Good luck with it! If I were anywhere close to being local I'd come.

Were I close enough I too would show up and pet the Gib-meister. Have a great time, learn a lot and most of all--have fun meeting new people!

Why oh why do we live so far away?!

Do you think that one day you might sell your yarn and photos online? Would love to have a pic of CAF for the wall someday.

YAY! I love that festival. I was just looking at a hat I made last night and getting all excited about fall so I can wear it. The pattern was from one vendor there and the yarn was from Carole Foster. She's always partnered up with my favorite soap lady-Mary Jane!

This would be a great opportunity to socialize and train Gibson unless they don't permit dogs. With puppies, I use every opportunity I can.

Gibson has come with me every single day to the office at Orvis. Every. Single. Day!

No dogs are allowed unless they are in the herding demo or agility demos. Since we'll have rabbits at the event, it's for the best.

Too bad I'm in Oregon, I'd definitely be there! Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for you.

I would love to work it! At least one of the days. I'll bring a big thermos of coffee, my roving/drop spindle, and a folding chair. I'd be happy as a clam.

Holy Cow! I'm just catching up on my backlog of blog reading and I saw this! I will be there with my family! We're in Pittsburgh. I started reading the blog after I got your book out of the library a year or so ago. Can't wait to meet you.
