Too funny! If I laid on a blanket in the pasture with reading material ... my dairy goats would make sure there weren't any pages without their attention and chewing marks on! Your sheep are very well behaved.

Ah yes, we have that book 'Cider'. It left me a little less than satisfied on the topic of brewing, but what can ya do? We've been brewing hard cider since December. If you want a good deal, Shelburne Orchards (Shelburne, VT) does a "fill your truck for $50" once the season is coming to a close. Thats what we did last year, doing it again this year- made 25 gallons of cider, gallons of sliced apples that we froze, and enough jars of applesauce that we've only made it through half of them in the past year! =D
