I sent you a message on facebook. Not sure if you still use your account. I am also a designer. I love your blog. I know you will have your own farm someday soon. I know you will not give up until it happens. Thanks for giving us all hope and sharing your dreams.

inspiring that others feel this way and enough of them felt this way they decided to make a movie! How cool is that?!

Looks like a wonderful movie! Looked like my old stomping grounds too... I'll have to watch the movie to be sure... but that looked like West Marin and the SF Bay Area.

How do you keep on top of all this? I wouldn't know where to begin finding such a clip. It's great!

I'm so happy that so much is going on so near to me! Pescadero, Davenport, etc. are coastal (about a 30 minute drive for me). I'm looking forward to seeing the film! Off to for more info. Thanks!

Cool, thanks for posting. I am glad to see that so much is happening on our coasts, but it makes my midwestern soul hurt that so little of it has transferred here. Not that it doesn't exist, it just doesn't on a large scale. I look forward to the day when small Iowa farms are featured in a movie, though Field of Dreams and King Corn weren't too bad...

I nominated Jenna at the greenhorns site!
"We are looking for charismatic, articulate farmers who can speak about their experience, motivation and land ethic. We are particularly interested in unconventional marketing practices, unusual land tenure arrangements and visionary crop choices. Nominees will be considered for the film or for the database of case studies we are building online." here: If a number of us do it, perhaps she'll be in the film!
