It doesn't come out till April, and it'll be in bookstores then. I don't sell books because it takes me forever to get around to mailing things.

Much different than the hardback cover, but I love it! Can't wait to see it on the shelves, might just have to buy a second copy for the cover.

I think the new cover is wonderful, but just curious. Why was it necessary to have a different cover for the paperback? Couldn't they have just used the dust jacket design from the hardcover copy for the paperback cover? I bet there's a logical reason I'm just not thinking of....

Oh, Jenna, I am loving this cover! It's so you! Yeah, the other one looked a lot like Storey's Country Skills, but this one screams "Jenna"!

I like it too, and I don't know why they aren't using the old cover? I guess because it's a chance to remarket it, This one says it's a memoir. Some people bought it and were dissapointed in the fact I was a beginner writing a how-to type book... (I considered it a how-to-get-started book.) I hope it sells well.

Someone tell Oprah!

Hey, I just noticed... is that an award you won for your book? If so, congratulations! And I actually like this new cover better than the last one. I like that it depicts you and your animals on a journey. Very cool.

And I wanted to mention that I wish they'd come out with a spiral-bound edition. It's dang hard to keep that book open to follow one of your recipes! (By the way, the quiche recipe is awesome! It's my new favorite quiche recipe - only I use spinach instead of broccoli.)

Could not find any other way to send this so I posted it on your new paperback comment spot
Jenna,
Just writing to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed your little book Made from Scratch. We both read it separately and since it was freezing cold here in Phoenix tonight, all the way down into the fifties, I started the fire, turned on the heater, she bundled up in a sweatshirt, and I read excerpts from the book aloud to her. We were warmed inside and out. Since we raised our three kids on a ranchet outside of Flagstaff and had nearly all the same experiences we couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
Never the less I do have a few questions; I went to your web blog and noticed some things that did not seem to match up. Where is “Vermont” Idaho? And what did you do with Jenna? The jacket picture and the blog picture don’t match. Same smile, same hat but where’s Jenna.
Anyway I got so motivated I loaded the bread machine and set the timer for fresh bread in time for Sunday breakfast.
Great book, looking forward to your next effort,
Dave and Chris
