That's so awesome! Love the Deer Heads! I would have loved to see that car rolling down the road.

Whoa! There for a minute I thought you'd been hunting for deer not antiques! You've done better this deer season than my husband has. Thankfully there is still more season left.

Man, what a haul! Looks like you had an absolutely divine time. Hey... I had one of those blue suitcases growing up! It's a little shocking that you would get one of those at an antique shop. I was only born in the '80s... I'm not even 30 yet! hahaha!
And congrats on the new goslings! So cute.

The photo'sold, from a few years ago, but I still have those two heads--Clark and Gable. Clark is at work holding Cds and my headphones at my desk and Gable is here in a moose-lodge member fez.

Wouldn't it be fun to do a photo study of what people drive home with after a day of antiquing? I'd be bringing home vintage linens and Fire King'd be bringing home deer heads and could be a hilarious coffee table book!

Yeah, I can't quite get over the glass eyes. But the antlers by themselves are lovely.

I can deal with antlers, it's the other that creeps me out. Antlers are very cool, I think that's part of the reason Jenna is always looking for hers...

Twistie: I'm not veg (anymore) but I'm with you on the animal heads... but now I'm renting a place that came with a deer head.

He was shot in 1964 and was hung on the wall of the local pub for 40 years before my landlord stole it for this apartment.

The plaque below his head says "Gordon Edwards, 1964" so for years he's been called "Gordie"

And now "Gordie" lives with me.

You'd be surprised how deer heads kinda grow on you
