Bless him, he's got every right to be smug. He's got it made. What a sweetie, that one.

I am just shy of 60 and too old to start all over, but if I were to, I would do what you have chosen to do. So, instead, I will live vicariously through you posts. Thank you for sharing your farm.

Have you seen a magazine called Wild Fibers? It's about fiber animals all over the world. I weave but don't spin and I still buy almost every issue. Anyway, they have lots about different places and shepherds, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, etc. I'm going to buy the latest issue, if you'd like to send me your address I'll send it to you when I'm done. Media mail so it'll be slow though.

Say, I've been wanting to ask you - can you tell me about your fencing? I'm looking for something like that. I want something that I can move around by myself (since hubby's not home most of the time) and doesn't require me to sink t-posts (yuck!). Is it this stuff?

Or something like it?

I love when they have those cud balls sticking out their cheeks. They always look like at you like, "What??? At least I'm chewing with my mouth closed!".

How's the new boy?

Also, way cool belt buckle!

for those of us living our farm life through you, what kinds of things still have to be done to get ready for winter? As summer is giving way to fall here at home, I'm making the mental list. Usually feels like fall starts with school and that is this week. After we tick off the back-to-school tasks, then we make the household list. What kind of stuff needs doing there at CAF??

Jenna, have you seen this?? It is amazing. It's a collection of videos of animals wearing cameras on their heads. The farm series includes sheep and goats, and my personal favorite, a cow being licked by another cow. There is also a wolf series, which I think you will enjoy as well. Check it out!
