Beautiful...it looks a lot like the area I just visited in the Appalachians of VA.

On my little vacation I took some new books and magazines to read, but I also brought along my copy of your book so I could re-read my favorite parts, which I did. It's not often that I re-read a book, Jenna. It's a real winner. Thanks for writing it.

I am smitten, too, Jenna. There's no place that feels quite the same.

I'm only a state away in New York, but I'm as far away from you as I can get in the western edge. Guess I need to start researching a road trip to Vermont.
Finished your book last night! It was very good.

Ok, this isn't really a comment to your post, but I wanted to share that I ate my first green pepper today! It was great! From my little apartment balcony garden, from the inspiration of "Made from Scratch." You're a good gal, Jenna!

I'm in total agreement with Vermonster! I've been living away for 2 years and my heart aches when I see photos like this. But I'll be driving up to VT today for a long weekend family visit. I feel happier already!
Thank you for sharing all these sneak peeks at my old home!

Aww, thanks for agreeing with me Farmgirl, but I am stuck in FL, and have been for the last 12 years as of October 31st. And before that in the Carolina's since the early 90's.
I swear if when we win the lotto, I will come home, dragging my FL Hubby kicking and screaming. Look for Frozen Floridian Computer Service and Sales when we do win, cause that's what he will be doing. I will be attending school at the New England Culinary Institute in both the normally culinary and the baking program, just for the fun of it.
The Girls will be having their horses, and all will be right with my world.
Maybe I'll start a blog about a lotto winner that starts homesteading. What do you think.
