Hi-
Your blog is great I've been reading it for a couple of weeks. If you are interested in buying land/home you might want to check out a NeighborWorks HomeOwnership center near you. It's a national organization, most affiliates are HUD Certified- they often have first time homebuyer programs that can help people with their first home purchase. I don't know what is in VT- but you might want to check it out. Here is the link: http://www.nw.org/network/utilities/NWOlookup.asp
Good Luck!
A farm is a wonderful dream!

LOL! Typical Maude expression, eh? Not happy with the newcomer, I suppose....and you for bringing him in.

I have a fortune cookie saying taped to my computer at work to remind me about keeping to the path I know is right for me. It states "The goal is not always what is at the end of the journey but the journey itself."

So what if you never get all you dream of (although I think you will eventually get there)?! You are living the life YOU want. You might encounter obstacles (storms, foxes, bears) but they too add to the richness of the experience. You are living an authentic life. How many others can really say the same?

Keep it up. We are all with you.

OOOooops. I didn't mean to post that again, I meant to comment about Maude.

hey rachel, i thought I had? you can send it again. If the subject line looks anything like spam and doesn't say coldantler or my name in it, sometimes it gets deleted by mistake. I get about 300 spam emalils in my folder a day! and maybe a dozen about the blog/farming and sometimes only 15 minutes of email time a day. so know it's not intentional. just crazy busy.

Found it. It got sent to my spam. I didn't think yahoo's free e-mail had that quality spam block.
