New Vlog: How I Make a Living as a Homesteader

This is a question I am asked a lot over on Youtube, since a lot of the viewers know nothing about me outside the vlogs. You guys following along for years on the blog have seen me scrap together a living through books, workshops, ideas, classes, sales, deals, and such for a while but the guys over there were wondering. So here is the reality of my life: I left one job that took up all my time, daylight, and freedom for fifty smaller jobs to make up for that income. Things have sure changed around here since 2015 but I am proud to still be here living the life I love.

You earned an audible, "HAH", from me when you thanked your haters! lol. I see you're on the 'no waddle in the neck' part of early 30's but to tell you the truth, the way I found you was your rabbit video from last fall. You were face forward, instead of up. You were beautiful then, as you are now. Give us different angles. :) Give your neck a break. Gobble Gobble. Show the goats and chickens and the road and the evil person taking pictures of your house. (that would be a hoot)

I have 11, 11-week old baby bunnies that aren't selling in Colorado for the wee price of $18....'com'on people!!'

I have 2 mama bunnies whom I spayed because they came from a really not-so-great environ, so even though combined they gave me the above babies, they themselves will not have to face being bread or treated poorly again. Once actually would flinch whenever I tried to pick her up. Nowadays, she still pounces on my hands, and I'm expecting it, but she doesn't tear up my arm with her fierce, never-letting-go bites she used to give me.

My geese take on the neighbor's dogs daily....through the fence. How frustrating for 2 German Shepherds to be taunted by the goose. haha.

Thanks for the inspiration. I will write down my goals. Someday, I want to have a Guernsey cow.....it is the first thing going on my goal list.

Have a great night! Stay warm!!

and remember, "haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate hate, breakers gonna break break break break break break, you're just gonna shake shake shake shake shake shake, shake it off, shake it off"

Love it! I picked up your book a few years back, Made From Scratch and its one I read each year usually during Fall. Leaving the corporate world is scary but so well worth it. My husband and I both have left and are moving more and more to a complete self sustaining life. Keep doing what you're doing and sharing. It inspires.
