I also struggle with this but I go for broke and I either soar or fall but either way I have learned something new! Thank Jenna for all that you do. jada

awesome Jenna. so true. I too have the self doubt and am working on ignoring it every day. I will remember your suggestion to 'be more stubborn than you are scared'. I'm quite good at being stubborn...

I know this is off topic and I think I may have missed something. Where is Jasper?

Jasper was sold a year ago to another farm, the whole thing was written about here. The last I heard he was well!

Really digging the daily vlogging. Even on days that I don't have time to read and/or watch, I know I will have a few episodes and updates waiting. I learn a lot from what you share and I admire the strength in you to do what you are doing. And representation matters--it's a lot harder to be what you can't see, and seeing what life is like as a female farmer helps keep me motivated to find my way to my own promised-land. Female farmers rock!

You can't win them all and stuff happens but look at how far you've come. And you are right on with taking g the small steps - herb garden - chickens - raised beds. It worked for me and it really helps to know that other people are in the same situations.

That was a fantastic, little talk. I've been working on shedding the negatives for a long time, and at 39, life is getting better. People are becoming scarce, but that process is hopefully leaving room for 'choice' friends.
Have a fabulous day!

Well said Jenna. I am 63, and have learned this life lesson long ago. You are very encouraging, and I like the vlogs. Take care.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying, but it sounds to me like Beth struggles with doing all of this alone and with children. That is A LOT to deal with. Taking care of children can be a full-time job in itself. Farming is a full-time job. Doing these two things together and on your own seems impossible! As a working mother of four, I can honestly say that Beth needs a lot of support as she pursues her dream. I hope she gets emotional and physical support from family and friends.
