10 Reasons You're Crazy to Want a Farm!

Blogger doglady said...

My farmette isn't as diversified as your place, no horses or sheep, and I'm not as dependent on what I raise as you are but you hit the top 10 myths and debunked them. I get so much satisfaction out of looking in my freezer at the 25 chickens soon to be joined by 4 turkeys and who knows how many rabbits. I raised those creatures that are going to feed me all winter. I raised the veggies that I can draw on all winter. I have 2 German Shepherds soon to be 3 to keep me company. Life on the farmette is full and fulfilling.

I enjoy the beautiful fall backgrounds almost as much as the videos themselves. It's fun to see the ponies' whiskery "what's up?" muzzles.

I absolutely love your video blogs (and the regular ones)... and the wisdom you always share. You inspire and motivate and have a way of getting down to the core of things. I can feel it... it's time for me to get off my duff and get some chickens...

You're so great. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "but you can get it at The Store!" and wanted to respond exactly how you did here. Love your wit and humor and style - you are rocking these vlogs!

Love the idea of work! Had a friend work for 2 hours clearing brush and firewood. She declared that living at our house would be too much work! She can't figure out why we live on 8 acres! Shoot .... Two hours outside is just a Saturday morning for us.
