Do You Want To Build A Slow Plan?

If you'd like a detailed account of a day spent raising a timber framed cottage, click the link below! There you can read along with the adventurs of Tara and Tyler of and see Tara's amazing photography of the raising day. Expect to see Brianna (can't leave a baby at home on a bottle schedule!), fried chicken from the gods, community, and dirty hands. I adore these people and you can follow along with their entire story of traveling the world and then choosing to settle here in Veryork to build their off-grid cabin, eventually ad animals (chickens and an icelandic pony), and more! I had such a great time and felt honored to be a part of this pivotal day. I met new folks, talked farm, talked building, and watched two amazing people start their lives on solid ground. Foundation, even!

Read the story and see photos here!

Sorry that this comment is not relevant to the post, but I am on a mobile device and knew of no other way to message you. I saw a news report on cbc . ca today that may interest you. A 15 year old boy in Nova Scotia did an experiment on the impact of music in the barn on chicken egg production. His results were surprising to say the least. I thought you might be interested, so wanted to pass it along.
