Storm on the Way

Another storm is coming, more snow the next few nights. I'm hoping its the force that brings the kids into the world. Right now is just a lot of waiting and checking, preparing and hoping. A few inches of snow is welcome, certainly before the weekend hits us around fifty degrees! I am feeling a little overwhelmed, mostly with all the goings on, but the days will come and go and before you know it there will be sunshine and hoes in the dirt. I hope to make this place shine this spring. I really do.

Ah Jenna, I so admire your spirit! I do hope the lower barometric pressure will help with the birthing process and you can put abit of anxiety behind you! I cant wait for Spring - the seeds will be flying like mad over here and I have big gardening plans!

The place already shines with all the life on it. Relax and don't stress over that stuff. Good luck with the births, you know they will arrive in the worst weather.

We got about 6 inches yesterday. Schools closed, so it became a nice family day. We even made some caramel corn to celebrate:) Thankful this year I purchased a very used but good 4X4 truck!

Ah, all the excitement in that first "kids are on the way!" post must have been a red flag for the girls to hold 'em in! Yeah, a good, windy snowstorm sounds much more to their liking.

Good luck, Jenna! More snow on the way here and we'll be playing the waiting game with our dairy sheep when lambing begins in a few weeks too. Looking forward to your updates!

Cheer up ~ we'll all be digging in the dirt before you know it. I think we're all feeling a little overwhelmed this March ~ it has been a brutally cold, windy & frozen winter with lots of snow. We all seem to have cabin fever at it's highest temp possible. Here's hoping you have new kids in the next few days and that the snow misses us all ~ they're saying 3 to 6 inches for us. The snow that we received from the 3 storms in the past month is starting to melt away so I guess it's time to replenish our supply.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your cabin fever.

I like you, Jenna, have big hopes this spring. I hope I can live up to my own expectations. I just finished Barnheart. WONDERFUL!! I felt a connection and understanding that centered me. You have a way with words dear Jenna. I wish I could hug you, sit in a rocker or on plain earth and just talk. Right now I feel centered yet apprehensive. life what an ironical adventure. Cheers to you, your blog, and the adventures yet to come. I can't wait to read about yours and experience my own.

We got about 9 inches here in MinneSNOWta. Got a "snow day" from my part-time childcare job at church! I stayed home, watched "Little Women" for the million and seventeenth time, and spun a skein of yarn. (Random side note: I also learned that spinning yarn is best done when the cat is asleep, haha!)

Jenna I'm loving all the shiny new photos! So nice to have that additional perspective into your farm, and what you see out there.
