Haha, I love the few flakes on Gibson's head. :)
Here in Southcentral New Hampshire, the snow has been blowing around all morning ~ the light stuff, though. I guess that "Snowmaggedon" is due to hit within a few hours and we will have blizzard conditions. The end result will be 12 to 24 inches of snow & possible power outages because of severe winds. Our hens are buttoned up in their coop so that they are warm & safe from the "plow guy". I will visit them in an hour or so and give them some goodies (leftover lasagna noodles from a batch of lasagna that I made this morning and some crackers that are getting stale). They will love their "blizzard treats".
Batten down the hatches! Bet that hay and extra wood are lookin' reaaal good right now. Enjoy your snow-day, stay safe!
stay safe!
Stay safe Cold Antler. I'll be thinking of all of you in the storm's path tonight.
Be careful, stay warm and stay safe. Lots of wood inside under cover? Take special care with your woodstoves as the wind intensifies, and hunker down with good friends, music and food.

Stay safe Jenna!
Hope you are safe at home!
Hope you are safe at home!
I hope you'll keep us up-to-date. Stay safe and and hopefully warm.
Stay warm and safe. I hope your animals do well too...
Well, thank goodness you waited to breed the ewes. Stay warm.
LOVE this photo-but your storm beginning is at LEAST a foot or so of snow shy than what we have before the 2-3' we're expecting! You would love to yell "gee" and "ha" up here in winter flying behind some wolffish power.... You should take a spring/summer vacay and then a fall/winter one.... Obviously not in the same year cause Cold Antler would cease without you.... But the Veryork community seems tightknit and amazing; I'd wager you could swing it! Our house is always ready.... Woodstove, garden, dogs, cats, chickens, local food, good times.... Standing invitation. Bring nothing but you (and if you want instruments, Gibson, woodchuck cider ;) lol)
Lol I have checked your blog like 100 times tonight. I have major weather envy right now. Hope you and the animals are tucked in safely!
