Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

Wish I could send you our great big Frasier Fir!
Yay! What a treat.. they're saying. And nutritious, they're thinking. Okay.. they're probably not thinking that... lol
My goats have made quick work of their first Christmas tree - it looks SO funny now! I'll throw a photo up on FB tomorrow if I get a minute. They sure do love it :)
Horses like Christmas trees too! Mine get at least one a year!
I had no idea they loved evergreens. You could have had my 10 footer!

My goats go crazy for ours, too. They are the ultimate composters :)

Love it! Yum, pine pitch.
do the sheep eat it too? our dairy goats are only a week old, but if the sheep eat it, i'd be happy to haul it out to them.
I am no pine/caprine expert! But I know mine are enjoying this one less than the native spruce I cut down from my backyard. they like the bark though.
