None here yet in Southcentral NH although the forecast is for 10 to 18 inches of the white stuff. My hens and I are dreaming of green grass, warm sun & a bountiful garden. We can dream, can't we?????
we just got rain and very strong wind gusts in Lower Bucks County, PA. one of our stockade fence panels fell down again. i hate that thing. we're having it all taken down and putting a chain link fence up instead. sometimes i then have to run out and look for my 2 escaped dogs when this happens. hey Jenna, I think some people fall into the "romantic" idea of homesteading. if you get a chance, can you go into some detail of what it's like to really work on your farm. such as do you have to clean up the pastures of sheep and horse poop and how often. for those of us that don't really get the whole picture of what it takes and why. thanks!
Woke up to a winter wonderland. After last year we really can't complain. Love days like this - gives me an excuse to stay inside and not feel guilty. Stay warm!
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

I'm about 2 hours south west-ish of you, but we've had some fairly heavy snow since around 5. Stay warm and safe!
12-18 inches for Western Maine.
