That was fantastic! God, I love them!
Love this. And...he holds his fiddle the same way I do, with my chin on the tail piece and not on the chin rest.

Love that fiddle....
wow... never heard of these guys or this song before, but I think I'm in love! Jenna you were already how I learned about the fleet foxes, crooked still, and iron and wine... thanks for the musical education!
Oh, I'm so torn...this is fantastic, but I LOVE when the original version of this comes on my shuffle when I'm running. But damn, I love that viola.
I've liked this song for months, but hearing it acoustically just actually gave me goosebumps up my arms and legs. Love it! Thanks for sharing, Jenna.

Think there’s something of an acoustic “revolution” going on—and also a long haired, bearded one—it’s been starting to look a bit like the late 60’s and 70’s all over again among certain music circles for a little while now…and that’s okay with me. Only song I truly like better electric is Hey Hey, My My…acoustic rules otherwise. Thanks for sharing!
NIce! I've never heard this version before! Thanks for the intro!
I agree Lara - I've been calling it a "newgrass" revival in honor of that 60s-70s surge, and I can't complain. Not a huge fan of hipsters, but if they are helping herald it in, fine. The acoustic revolution is far overdue. And, yes, so much better acoustic. I'd never heard the song until today, and after listening to the original, I'm still all about that acoustic circle.
That was really great! Thanks for sharing. :D
