Haha! And I would find no snow a relief.
We have 6 inches in CT. It was supposed to be rain. But it's the heavy wet snow. I'm not looking forward to freeing my car from it.
I would be disappointed to. I was really hoping to live vicariously through your first snow. Living in Georgia, we might get one snow a year - and that's if we are lucky. I've been hoping for a freak snow this year. One, like the one a couple of years ago, that keeps us trapped in our house for a week. It is early, though. We usually get ours in January. I hope you get one soon and I can't wait to see the pictures.
Ha! I confess, I was disappointed too when I woke up to no snow this morning. We weren't expecting a lot, but man, some white prettiness would have been nice. Hang in there, Jenna! She will come :)
No snow there, either? 8" in Worcester, less than an hour from me, and I got the most minute dusting. Bah.
LOL At least it was fun for me to follow you through your day's posts yesterday. ;)
Sorry Jenna, it ended up here in CT-heavy, wet, beautiful, cold!-It was a snuggly night here!
Sorry Jenna, it all ended up here in CT-about 5 inches near Hartford. Wet, heavy, cold and made for a very snuggly evening!
Oh, I'm so sorry that you didn't get your snow. Thankfully it's still early in the season, you'll be getting tons of it before you know it.
We only had a couple of snowfalls last winter, and neither of them stuck to the ground. I'm hoping for better this year.
Argh! Hartford is like, 3 hours away!!!!
oh well, I get the gift of extended anticipation!
you are too funny...I agree. I was totally bummed when I opened the curtains this morning. Of course when we do finally get that big snow I'll be bitching and moaning as I'm shoveling and the freakin' plow goes by to bury my driveway ONE MORE TIME!! But hey, if it really bothered me that much I wouldn't live in the Northeast.
It'll be here soon enough....especially up in your neck of the woods! Patience...
The cutoff for snow amounts with this storm has been very strange. I'm in central Massachusetts and while my town got 2-3" at the most, others nearby got lots more. There's also more snow to the south of me as well. Quite the odd storm.
Oh I'm so sorry you didn't get the snow you were so excited for!! We got about 2" and then it rained the rest of the day. Even though it didn't last long, it got me singing Christmas carols and thinking about making presents during this long weekend ahead. I hope you get your snow storm soon!
You need snow? Come on over to Alberta, it's coming down on our farm as we speak and we are expecting more than a foot by Sat.
You make me laugh! :-) We're still in shirt sleeves here. I have a second harvest still on the vine.
That made me laugh.
I'm sure you'll be getting plenty soon!!
