Feel 100% better

So here's what I want you to do. I want you to click this link, turn up your speakers, and then minimize the screen so you can only hear it. If you are reading this on your phone, then get out your ear plugs or prop this up where you can listen. The song is what matters and what I want to share, so just plain ignore the photo slideshow of someone's trip to Europe. This isn't about a trip to Europe. Well, it could be, but that's not what I'm talking about presently.

Now, with the music up and the screen hidden. I want you to get up and away from your computer, and think about the one thing you want. Whoever, whatever, wherever it is. Listen and think and smile. Picture it and you together. PIcture yourself riding that horse, walking through your own farm's fields, sitting under the stars with someone you love. Keep that picture in your mind this entire song. Play a movie in your head about your perfect day, your perfect activities. Feel the feelings of happiness, and safety, and goodness. Listen and Believe it is yours.

Hi Jenna,
(This doesn't need to be a published comment but I can't seem to find your email address when I need it...go figure.) I am a silent follower on your blog but I have loved it for years! I used to live in Albany and moved to Metro Atlanta, GA last year. A friend was telling me over the weekend about an awesome non-profit organization and as I am reading it, I can only think of you, Cold Antler, and Ajay. It is called WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). Have you heard of it? It sounds very much like what Ajay is doing. For 1/2 a days work on an organic farm, the WWOOF member receives lodging and food. If you haven't heard of it, I encourage you to check it out: You could become a host farm. I am sure you could always use an extra set of hands around the farm. Thanks for all the great posts. Someday I will be growing my own produce, I just need to get an apartment/house with a porch or at least some sun where I can start with a pot of tomatoes! :-)

I loved this!! I'm physically at my desk at work, but my soul was wandering around the farm, starting a fire in the bunbaker, baking bread in that and the oven while Sunny thumped her tail on the wide wood plank floor. I walked out the door to check on the cow and smiled when Sunny began chasing the chickens and turkeys around. I called to Joe and asked him to check on the animals. We sat under the apple tree and ate lunch.

Thank you...I will download this song and use it often.

This was exactly what I needed today-I'm pretty much in love with a basically unattainable piece of property and I daily picture life there; the long grass in the fields, the way the fall foliage would look, the glow of the woodstove with snow drifting outside. This song helped (though only to increase my want) instead of satisfying the ache I have!

Can't comment right now, that second one makes me cry. Every time I read about you and Merline, I sing that first song to myself, "I want to ride my pony..."

Love. Instead of concentrating on what I want, I could only think of my blessings. I count you as one. Thank you for sharing this Jenna!!
