Last Chance to Win Your Own Fall Garden!
Got word from Scott over at Annie's Heirloom Seeds today. He asked if I'd be interested in a Fall Garden Seed Giveaway? Of course! He's offering five winners a collection of over a thousand seeds to plant in mid-to-late July for harvesting up into snowfly, even in northern climates. The package of seven veggies includes carrots, beets, sugar snow peas, cabbage, spinach, lettuce and broc. What we think of as spring gardening can also be fall gardening, or as I call them "shoulder veg" since you grow them at the shoulder seasons. Ooo, I would love some heirloom seeds for my new beds that I have planned for next year. The one I have now is not working out as there is not enough sun, so next year is the year, I hope. Unfortunately, I don't know if they can ship to Canada. I just wanted to say thanks for a neat give away and have a nice day.

I've just put in all my squash seeds for the fall, plus the second set of tomato and tomatillo plants. One of the few good things about Texas is having enough heat for two crops!

Yes please - would love some seeds for a fall garden. Especially as our 1st fence didn't stop the deer and rabbits demolishing all our spring seedlings! Replanting and installing a new 6 foot fence means things are looking good now -I'm just impatient for everything to be ready to harvest.

We are moving to a new place this weekend and our new landlord plowed me up a garden plot out of the goodness of his heart while he had his tractor out. I am definitely having a fall garden. I've missed growing things in the ground since we moved across the mountains. Containers just don't have the same thrill.

I would love to enter. My summer garden has been nothing but frustration for me this year because of the drought. Since it looks like we'll need to replace a couple of our fruit trees this fall, for the same reason, it would be nice to not have to buy garden seeds as well.

Hello! We just got our first community garden plot this year and I'd love to get a fall crop in there/in the insane windowsill garden I have in our fire escapeless apartment.
I would love to try their seeds. Tonight we are having the first zucchini that I've ever grown. Tomatoes are on the vine. Even with the heat and deer it's been a great growing season.
