Dear Jenna,
Ditto to yoru comment regarding Lady Liberty. Eons ago (I'm now in the fifties, I came to the US for college and was certainly blessed with opportunities to attend graduate school, summer work to pay for college, jobs including cleaning out monster pots used for churning spaghetti sauce to feed hungry troves at Cedar Point, Sandusky, etc. The sky's the limit in the US- I'm forever GRATEFUL to my adopted country and am VERY PROUD to be an American citizen.
AMEN, to that! So Jennie, what did you wind up doing with your U.S. education???
You go girl! Happy (and safe) Fourth.
You go girl! Happy 4th!!!
Jenna, Apologies in advance in hijacking this space but thought I'd use it to provide a response to the query from "chickadeeworkshop" - I majored in Microbiology and Genetics- and conducted basic research in Molecular Genetics in academia and industry. I very much love the biological sciences and reading Jenna's blogs on farm life represent the biological sciences, so to speak. Milking Bonita, raising the Free Rangers, the bees and honey, making soap from goat milk (chemistry!), etc. Have a blessed day!
