photos from the big day
Today started milking a goat at 4:30 AM and ended with a slice of rhubarb pie and red wine in a hot tub. A big, long, post coming up soon about my first show, but to hold you over I thought I'd share photos from the day. I have a bunch Mark Wesner took to post tomorrow, but for the now, check out what Mike McNeil took of the show. Merlin and I on here and Patty and Steele are right after us! Lovely photos. Steel is tracking up and nicely-balanced and great to see that your young man is much fitter and more active now too. You have made much headway since he arrived. WELL DONE!
I have to say your both look so proper here! Not like the farm gals ya'll are. Just goes to show there's more going on down on the farm than can be seen with one look.

Congrats again on the big day! There are some great pics in here. There are a few of you and Merlin looking very sharp, with his head nicely collected and you looking confident in your seat. What a handsome boy he is with that wild mane and forelock!
Steele is so lovely with his mane done. He looks like he was having a good time showing off!

I have to admit the first thing that popped into my head when I came to your section of the photos was 'hobbit dressage' :). You and Merlin looked quite nice & in tune with each other.
