I loved his write up. Is it just the way she is standing or is she very thin? I have never owned goats so I don't know how they should look.
Wow. I just looked at Jon Katz facebook album of you milking Bonita. I read the first comment of a women saying "Beautiful album Jon. Read Barnheart. She is a pistol!" It brought tears to my eyes. To have someone say such things about you. You are such an amazing... accomplished woman. I could only dream of such awe.
Stop for a moment and breath.

And she is arching her back a little in this photo so she looks more gaunt than she is. She is underweight, part of leaving one farm and being at another alone for a while. But she is Eating A LOT and put on pounds! She'll be at a real good place in a few more weeks!
She's looking a bit thin- producing that much milk takes a lot out of them.
What a lovely post from Jon. He expresses so well what I (and probably many of your readers) admire about you. Be proud!
I see that tin of bag balm there!! awesome stuff isnt it? I use it on my dog's paws in the winter to protect from salt.
