Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

I'm Irish - grand soft day is the weather we get here a lot, a day with only a little drizzle but no heavy rain - my Granddad who was a farmer used the phrase a lot and it reminds me of childhood adventures out on the farm herding sheep and walking the land.

What an awesome way to end a week!!! My week began with new animals, albeit much smaller - 30 baby chicks at the post office earlier this week. (27 layers and 2 roosters) Next up is an order of freedom rangers!

Congratulations Jenna ! You now have a partner ! Horses are great...I started out with one and now have 4 and love them all to pieces. They eat better than I do but who cares. They bring me alot of joy and I wish you the same ! You go girl !!
