love is reckless

Love is reckless, not reason;
reason seeks a profit.
Love comes on strong,
consuming herself, unabashed.
Yet, in the midst of suffering,
Love proceeds like a millstone,
hard surfaced and straightforward.
Having died of self-interest,
she risks everything and asks for nothing.
Love gambles away every gift God bestows.
Without cause God gave us Being.
Without cause, give it back again.

what a beautiful pony, reminds me of the Fell ponies we have here in England.
Nice to meet you all. blessings, Kath
I love your pony and I love that you love him so much.
does he now, Kath?!
I do love him, and even though I am beat from a day of driving, taxes, and farming I just pulled on a new set of breeches and am heading down to groom and ride him. We need our workouts, us!
yep, this was my favorite pic.
I love Rumi
Rumi is one of my favorites. So are horses and anything that involves them. Including mucking.
I love this and the dulcimer video and just about everything on your blog. What a brave and bold lady you are! I often think about your grandma whom you wrote about last Halloween, the one who came at age 18 and made a fantastic life that included so many - you are like that.
