Shawn Braley, the talented fellow behind New England Illustrated, is a Cold Antler sponsor and friend of the farm. He's given away original artwork before (and sets of his beautiful note cards) and he recently decided to offer this large dairy cow print! It's a signed 13x19" piece on professional artist-grade paper. 
He will also give away two 25-card sets of note cards! (including a color version of the Deer riding a Deere he gave away as an original piece of art here this past fall!) Oh, the deer on a Deere would be awesome, my husband works at Deere's Harvester works! The big cow picture is cute too. BTW, last year you were encouraging me to get my own chickens - well, as soon as I can find some Dorking girls I'm ordering them! I've been having a hard time so I may have to switch breeds.

These would look so nice in my 200 year old farmhouse. They are all beautiful but the milk and egg is my favorite.
We just had our first calf born on our farm! Just had to share. We noticed "Lexie" wasn't at the hay bale he other "girls" were..we walked through the pasture and there she was with the baby! We are proud Cow Grandparents!

When I was little "Cow" was one of my first words...and consequently whenever I saw a large animal, be it a horse, cow, deer, etc. I yelled "COW!".

I love his work! My favorites were the fat cat, and the cow with the bird on his nose. This is the first time I have seen the pig with the dandelions. That pig went to the top of my favorites list. He is so talented! I wish he would illustrate a childrens book.
