You're Invited to the BARNHEART Launch Party!

There's going to be a Launch party and poster giveaway at Battenkill Books right here in Cambridge on January 22. It's a Sunday, and the event starts at 4PM. I'll be doing some reading from the book, talking, and doing a Q&A. Jon Katz is being kind enough to introduce me. Storey Publishing is also giving away 50 posters of the cover art too, to folks who come to the event. Come support a grand little bookstore, meet Gibson, ask questions and enjoy hearing the latest goings on at Cold Antler Farm. It'll be a big time!

For more information visit battenkillbooks.com

P.S. You can order signed copies of Barnheart, Made From Scratch, and Chick Days any time from Connie down at BKB.

Sounds like a great event, a little too far a drive from Illinois. I wanted to say I got Made from Scratch and Barnheart from a great little independent book store here about a month ago. The bookstore now has a few extra copies of both books on the shelf. Enjoyed them both so much. Stayed up late one night to finish Barnheart in front of a crackling fire. Maybe someday I'll be ordering my signed copy of Chick Days for my own flock!

I would totally be there if I didn't live in North Carolina.

Congratulations and good luck!

Ooooh that's pure torture! I'll be in the MD/PA area that week, and I would so love to be there... sigh.

Unfortunately, unless I see a large lottery win in the next couple of weeks, its a little too far (from Ireland). Hope you all have a wonderful time. An evening with yourself, Jon, Connie and all would be the perfect way to say goodbye to those January blues.
Cannot get Barnheart here yet but my local bookstore assures me that they will have it for me in February. Really looking forward to reading it.

I may be able to make it as I will be at my Dad's then. It will depend on whether or not I want to leave him for a while as he is really looking forward to my visit.

Goat Song - That's MY neck of the woods! What kind of goats do you have?

My local library just got Barnheart delivered and WE got it first! (We also were one of the 1st to get Salatin's newest book). I'd like to buy a signed copy of all your books, but funds are rather tight right now. Libraries are my source of your books for the time being. I love your writing style, Jenna. It's so down to earth. I LOVED your fairy-banty-Star Wars analogy. I cracked up so hard!
