wear your horns
Very excited about this book coming out in a few weeks from Storey, and even more excited to have an essay inside it. The book has over 50 new farmers writing stories, advice, and inspiration to other dreamers and doers out there. I haven't read it yet, and when I do I will post a longer review, but in the meantime I am thrilled to know there is such a growth in new farmers there's a market for such a compliation!

this looks marvelous! i'll have to find myself a copy ~ awesome that you're in it!
This will go on the reading list. I find myself looking at the new 40'x 50' main garden plot with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. It's nice to read about other folks starting out...
Amanda that is HUGE!!!
Lovely Jenna:) gosh...I just had a friend send me your way:) & lookie there...I see we shall be in the same book :)!! I live in Oklahoma :) & also run a farm:) I am greatly enjoying your blog:)
Great timing. I was just sad to finish Barnhart and have nothing as good to follow it with!
Another addition to the bookshelf - I can always use a little more inspiration, especially when I'm feeling citybound and farm-free. Stopping by here and doing lots of reading makes me realize how much I can do with what I already have.
Thanks for the heads up, it looks great!
Can't wait to read it, will Battenkill Books be selling signed copies?
anyone know exactly when the book will be out?
Super excited for this. I'm currently reading Barnheart. Question: can you recommend some good seed and hatchery catalogs? Not to creat more work for you...but I would looooove to see an FAQ page!
