About Me

- Name: Jenna
- Location: Jackson, New York, United States
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

Very clever. Love it! Hope to see a picture of it all gussied up when you're done :)

Score exactly! Thought I'd tell you about my adaptation: I moved our old outhouse to the edge of the garden and renamed it the "Stool Shed". It holds my garden tools and there's an oil painting of an old toad on one of the inside walls. That's to pay homage to the toads I value so much in the garden. As Sharon Lovejoy says, "Never understimate the power of a woman or the usefulness of a toad".

WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH, that is such a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!
Plenty of space for books

Good luck today, have a great time.
That's a sweet idea! I should come up with something interesting like that for my books; I'm running out of space on my mismatched bookshelves and have started thinking about a longer-term solution.
What a great idea! Would also make a unique quilt fabric & gizmo storage unit plus display case. Will put this on my list of items to keep an eye out for.
The website Pinterest has a lot of re-use ideas. There are many for old mason jars, wine bottles and other things that are laying around. I'm turning an old pair of my work boots into flower posts this spring and setting them on the porch on an old welcome mat.
that is AWESOME! i'm totally jealous!

P. S. "Post" a foto when it is finished!!!
Love, love, love repurposing... I wanna see a picture when it's done.
Oh man, I wish someone would give me a bank of nest boxes! Of course, I'd be reusing them as...nest boxes. I need nests for the Henebago. Those will look really cool as bookshelves, though!
This is not a CAF-exclusive! All y'all feel free to do it!
Ha! I just now noticed the guinea in the nestbox in that photo and got a good laugh.
VERY cool. Please post a picture of the finished product!
Looks in great shape. I don't know if there are cautions for sand galvanized metal.
