Overwhelming comments and emails pointed to our shroom mug cover as the winner, so email me, you Mason Maven, and I'll mail you your prize of books! And to the creator of the inside-out woolie jar with the handle...you're the runner up and will receive a book from the homesteading library at the farm as well! Congrats to all who got creative here, and I hope you use those jar warmers, too. Well done!
Thank you Jenna for the excuse to get creative, and thank you to everyone for your votes (I'm the runner-up)! Congrats to the one who made the mushroom cozy, how beautiful! I had such a great time making my cozy, and it looks like I'm not the only one. It's been a lot of fun seeing how different people have interpreted the assignment. I've gotten a lot of ideas for my next few cozies from all you creative folks. I hope you're enjoying using them now that the cold weather has struck!
Ah, the cozy. Definitely on my list of things to make as Christmas gifts this year. Love the mushroom design, and might just have to copy that idea! Just found your blog, though I have read Made from scratch...found it in my library way up here on Prince Edward Island, and just to let you know, it is a popular title!
Hurray, inside-out woolie jar with the handle - maker, you came second, I'm so excited for you. Just looked, that's soilsand sandwiches...I'm so pleased, since I voted for you. Good job. I'm going to look at your blog now.
Oh oops, congratulations Mason Maven, your shroom mug cover is pretty nice too, congratulations.
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.
