The snow lays thickly on the sheep, too. I always wonder if animals feel the cold and what they do about it when and if they are uncomfortable.

We had about 8 inches total from the storm here in Colorado. A little too early for me this year too!

Wow, now that's something I do NOT want to see here. I bet you're glad this is Thursday! Stay nice and warm and dry up there. We're supposed to get a little rain is all here.

Wow! I can't even imagine getting snow so soon! Our trees are only just beginning to change colors! We normally don't get snow in our area of OR, but if we do, it usually falls in January/February.

Methinks I am a tad jealous... ;) Enjoy your snow!

Beautiful! This California girl is jealous too. Everyone at your farm seems excited about the snow, and who can blame 'em? Gibson and Joseph seem to have a little thing for each other - very cute.

It smelled like snow here all day but at 39 degrees, I don't see it happening. The good news is anything we get this early will not stay because my farmette is not ready.

We got about 4 inches of watery snow here on the high plains of eastern new mexico. It's already almost all gone. Hope it waits a while still before we get more snow. Not quite ready for the winter weather.
