Really? I have such a different feeling from my religious upbringing for the term "AMEN". I haven't used it in years. Instead I say, "And so it is!" Thanks for sharing.
Reminds me of "Simple Gifts": 'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free, 'Tis the gift to come down where you ought to be, And when we find ourselves in the place just right, Will be in the valley of love and delight.
Actually I think "Amen" means "So be it" but I suppose that is about the same meaning as "Let it be". This all makes me think of the Beatles and therefore your definition would be easier to remember.
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

If that's the only thing I've learned today (and, I think, it is), I'll go to bed happy.
That is perfect. Love that.
Let it be. Good advice in this control oriented world.
what a wonderful thing to learn. thanks for sharing.
Simply incredible. Thank you for blessing us with that thought.
Just as good is that in Hebrew perfect means not without any blemish but wholeness and fullness. That's a more achievable perfect I think.
Amen is our family nickname for my brother Adam- guess it's not a big surprise that he grew up and became a minister.
