Oh man, do I ever wish I could jump in that pond! I just hung out the sixth load of clothes today and am sweating like a horse. It is miserable here in Iredell County, North Carolina. Heat index is 105 degrees today. I'm heading to the shower. Watching Gibson did cool me off a bit, though.

Thanks from Diane in North Carolina

Oh Jenna, Jenna. I have a billion dollar view of the San Gabriel mountains from my classroom, un-interruped by anything as I am on the second floor of my building. HOWEVER - I don't have woods, ponds, or dogs on my campus. Lucky, lucky Gibson and hey! Good choice for a day job.

It absolutely cracks me up that he swims straight across and runs back on the dock, instead of just turning around in the water. Thanks for brightening my day!

@Kris,

Please call your local shelter and vet offices to report a found dog and see if anyone is missing her. She could have initially been found by someone who put that rope around her neck and lost track of her.

At the very least have her scanned for a microchip. Someone could be looking for their dog.

Meridith, I'll take her Monday. I never thought of that. I just assumed she was dropped off. That happens so much around here.

I do take my dogs to work with me because I own a boarding kennel. Unfortunately, we do not have a pond on the property but we know where they are.
Gibson is having a great time along with the other dogs.

That looks so refreshing and fun. Multi-talented, that Gibson.
