BARNHEART!

My next book is called BARNHEART, the story of going from a new Vermonter to a land-owning New Yorker. It covers three years of love and stubborness and the battle to fight my own disease. While it does go through a lot of the adventures I shared on the blog, it also goes deeper. Talking about loneliness, despair, failure, and being broke while trying to start a dream. It comes out late this fall, but you can pre-order this nice paperback any time. A couple dimes of each copy go to this little freehold, a constant work in progress, but never without grattitude.

Pre-Order a Copy Here!

Good for You!!!! You may be sure I'll be getting a copy. Nice news about your riding lesson the other night - isn't it wonderful when it comes together like that?
A great full length picture of Jasper too - beautiful colouring - it will get lighter as the last of his winter coat sheds out, I think.

How do you possibly find the time? With a 9-5 and constantly growing list of chores around the farm I'm amazed at how you continue to accomplish these sorts of feats.

Truly inspiring.

YAY! *elmo arms waving around excitedly* I just finished Made from Scratch, went to the store and bought stuff to start canning, went to a local farm to pick strawberries (for said canning adventure numero uno) and started obsessively following other urban homesteader blogs. My heart is whole. Can't wait for the new book! Thank you :) Have a great day!
