Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

As the owner of a high energy border collie, I know the complete and utter joy with which that dog is running!
"Life is like a flock of sheep"
His silhouette is exactly the same as your deer on the blog!
Northmoon, I was just going to say the same thing!
ohmygosh! so it is!
The deer on the blog is a canine with antlers!
The CAF logo is a wolf with antlers! like on the itsafarwalk.com/wolf.html link!
He looks so happy! I used to have one ans boy could she run.
I have a Blue Merle Border Collie named Miranda, I found out this weekend that she definitely does not like water when I tried to take her swimming with me here in Florida. I wonder if that is a trait of the breed or just my sweet girl. How about Gibson?
I have a border collie mix, so he's sure to not have all the BC traits, but he does not like water at all!
Or, he at least does not like water that he has to swim through. He loves running through shallows streams though.
What a great dog...
Good boy Gibson! I love border collies, but don't want a dog smarter than me. So have standard poodles-smart but just an nth less smart than me.
I love how the photo captured all four feet off the ground. Gibson looks so happy!
Wow, great shot! He is a beautiful dog. ANd I am so glad he's all better. Looks like he's rarin' to go chase him some sheep.
I was so hoping to see a new lamb post. Maybe soon now. And I am crossing my fingers for twin ewe lambs for you.
Great action photo!
Oh my gosh. He really looks all grown up now!
I have an Australian shepherd/terrier mix and she runs like the wind too. I just get a great sense of joy watching go full speed. You can just see that she enjoys her strength and angility. She was born to run, just like Gibson.

That must be a fast shutter speed! This time my dog gets the "runs" and tears up the yard with his need for speed!
Now I see the fangs!
