About Me

- Name: Jenna
- Location: Jackson, New York, United States
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

Oh, he's so cute!! What a face! Gilmore Girls is my go to feel good show as well...what's the new little girl's name going to be? How about Lorelei?
Oh I love that name!
love it when young kids are exposed to farming, animal husbandry, and agriculture, hopefully they'll get bit by it too! By the 'bug' that veers you off course 100% from that which you thought you wanted in your life, not the animal. Thought I might should clarify that. :-)
Great pictures - nothing like little kids and little lambs - spring is here despite today's temps!! Congratulations!!!!!
Congrats on the fresh faces on the farm. I like the name Gilmore, too. :)
Oh that's a lovely picture!

Isn't it amazing how much fleece they are covered with at birth? They are the cuddliest-looking things. Wish I could be there to cuddle with them. Lucky you!
AWWWW...
Enjoy every aspect of this experience. Can't say there isn't a little envy here.
Near and dear to my heart. My grandparents raised sheep and I remember going to the ranch every spring to see all the babies. Every hour of lost sleep is forgotten when you see those "woolly baa baas" as we used to call them. Congrats!
Great picture Jenna. Linda & I just spent our weekend on a goat dairy/BB and got my fix loving on the baby goats. I love it more than words can express. There are pictures at my blog. Hope you are getting some rest girl.
Odie
Odie that sounds wonderful! Get goats, but get GREAT fences!!!
