I would have announced this last night, as planned, but lamb-watch and an appointment in Cambridge threw me off my game. But hey, we're only a few hours late. And for everyone else who entered, thank you. Banjo Equinox starts this weekend with an intro and banjo primer. We'll be learning to play Clawhammer together using Wayne Erbsen's book and CD. Grab a stickpot and join the party!

Jenna, can you post details on the class? What time and anything special about logging in to view it? I've never done a "webinar" before. My husband has a banjo and desperately needs some guidance!!! Can't wait until you decide to do fiddle, too. Then I, too, can learn!! I don't know how you accomplish it all!

After I found out that I was not the winner, I ordered a new banjo from http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/loduca-bros-inc-5-string-banjo-package.aspx?a=526638.
Problem is that I don't think it is going to arrive in time for the first lesson.
Will the lessons be archived so that they will be accessible after the webinar? If not, could I use my guitar in place of the banjo until it arrives?

Well, this is exciting!! I never win anything. I remember probably 50 years or so ago, when I was 8 or 9, I won a cake in a cake walk at a school carnival. I don't really remember winning anything other than that! Thanks to all who posted congrats!!
