Oh, yes!! Another one. I loved Victorian House.

If you haven't seen it, you should also check out Frontier House. Though I don't think that one is on Youtube.

This was great Jenna. I have always wanted to spend time in the Canadian wilderness in a cabin with the basic stuff like the Edwardian farm had. I could easily do without todays electronics.

i'm totally sucked into these! i think i watched 5 hours the other day.... love it! and learning a lot too. i laughed, tho, because their 'day in the life' was a lot like mine. Ruth is totally my hero.

Hi - I live in the same area, South East Cornwall, the Tamar valley area, where this TV programme was mainly filmed. The actual farm shots are from Morwellham Quay, near Tavistock in Devon.

I have too slow an internet connection to watch 15 minutes worth. I bought the Victorian Farm dvd 'cause I fell in love with it when they were showing it on tv here in Canada. It's only in UK mode but I have my laptop set up to play just stuff from across the pond. The other day I found out about Edwardian Farm but they aren't selling it in North America yet. Just "over there" so I have to either import a copy or wait. Sigh. Not sure if I can wait.

It's so addicting I had a dream last night that I was on the show but I just chased my kids in white night gowns around and did lots and lots of laundry.

Both of them are awesome and Alex's brother *makes* shoes. Seriously, are there guys in the US that do this stuff?

I keep hoping Alex hitches the Shire horse girl. They'd be cute out plowing fields together.

Am I the only one that wants to go around calling all my stuff "concerns"? :)

Oh I hope this is available on dvd, our place was an edwardian farm and except for updated electrical work and plumbing added for heaters and a bathroom it hasn't really been touched. There are all sorts of cool quirky metalwork bits throughout the house because the family that owned it was also the farrier/blacksmith shop until the 60's.
