What makes it great? Other than the obvious direct trade and organic, that is.

DarcC, it's so strong and so smooth...the flavor puts all my other favorite brews to shame.

Stumptown's based in Portland, OR, and they are my favorite coffee roaster. When we're feeling flush, we spring for Stumptown.

If you're into decaf, their Trapper Creek Decaf is wonderful.

If you can't get it locally, it can be ordered from their website: http://www.stumptowncoffee.com/

Enjoy!

Stumptown is great because they roast it without burning it...

Portland is only three hours north of here...surprised I haven't heard of it! I'll have to try it. Thanks.

I love strong coffee, like, really really strong. But usually it gets bitter... this is like coffee cough syrup, but in a very very good way.

I love Stumptown! I lived in Portland for a few years, now I live a couple of hours south in Eugene. One of our local roasters is Wandering Goat Coffee. Also very tasty!

I love strong black coffee too, picked up the habit in Europe, not like the insipid stuff usually found here in the US. I'll order some, thanks!
