Lucky you, that your mortgage payment is not due until the 10th. Mine & my car payment are both due the first week of the month. Can you say beanie-weenies & ramen noodles that week?
Don't forget, you should be getting a HUGE tax refund too what with the Fed tax credit, your interest payments (which is probably 90% of that monthly check right now), and property tax deductions.

That's because you're doing what you're supposed to do.
Yea! And before you know it, it will truly feel like home.

it's not considered late until the 15th.
I know just what you mean! We closed in May and I have the same feeling every time I send that check.
Mortgages are way better'n rent.
Unless you didn't get a fixed rate, you never have to worry about your rent going up.
Property taxes are a different thing, though. No control over those. Insurance too. No control.
But a fixed rate mortgage is a beautiful thing....
I wish I had a mortgage to pay, instead of rent. It feels as if I'm throwing money in the lake every month...
