Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

One of the best things about fall..the fair!
FYI Jenna...The Great NYS Fair started today and runs through Labor Day. It's supposed to be the best state fair in the us! :-) It's in Syracuse.

it's both e. it's magical and bleak. i opt for taking photos of the pretty things... the blooming onion made me feel pretty crappy though...
This brings back memories. Went there with my parents about 15 years ago. It has a real rural flavor.

"The Magic of Agriculture" is killing me! Bucolic scenes of happy farm animals in small and diverse populations...heh. I must say, among the many other things wrong with those kinds of images, it annoys me that goats are almost never represented. :)
