...and yet the monarch caterpillars are here, and the goldenrod (which makes fine dye) and the asters, and melons from Hand Melon Farms, and still that feeling where you wake up to do chores and want to put on a flannel... awww yeah, you know what I mean...

Thinking about you Jenna!! Hope all is well. Did you get to see our potato harvest? I'm not sure if Zach sent you a pic. I so wish we could come up to visit this fall. It will be so beautiful up there....Have a great week :)

I absolutely love fall and think it isn't long enough but aren't fallish things happening a bit early this year? My Goldenrod has been in bloom since last week. Some of the Red Maples in the swamp are turning. It feels premature.
