I met a lovely half Australian shepherd/ half husky yesterday. His name is Sidney and he has large ears that can both stand up straight or lay close to his head which makes him look like two different dogs. He definitely has a herder's instinct- he tries to round up the neighbourhood cats who of course want nothing to do with it!
Such a lovely little guy!!Isn't it amazing how fast our "babies" do grow up. How ironic that the title of your post today is "he's growing up"-----I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today because one of my babies is growing up and graduates from high school later this afternoon.
Blessings to you, Jenna. You continue to be a true inspiration to me.
Hi, Jenna! He's absolutely adorable! Just wanted to let you know I've given you an award on my blog today. It's at: http://patacakebabies.com/wordpress/
Jenna, I have a new puppy also. She is a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle dog) mix adopted from a rescue group. It is amazing how fast they seem to grow that first year. Gibson looks so much bigger now!!! He is going to be one handsome dude! All the lady BCs will be wanting to meet him for sure. Enjoy every moment!
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

"Oh please Pack Leader, grant me some sheep!"
He sure is growing up? How old is he now? Jenna, I think he is going to be a big boy.
Losing that puppy look. He looks ready for work.
Oh, he's so handsome, and looks all ready and eager to go, too.

He's so handsome! I love watching puppies grow up. We're looking for another Old English Sheepdog puppy. I can't wait.
Such a handsome young fellow!
He is just gorgeous! Has such a serious, no-nonsense look on his face in this picture. I think he will be all you hope for, and more.
I just fell over from all the handsome!
Wow, he looks like Marley at that age!! What a great picture.
Great pic Jenna.
He is looking like his Dad. Looking forward to hearing more about his life on the sheep farm.

You just keep on doing what you are doing. Don't let anyone tell you what is right or wrong for you.

Maggie, I'll take that bet! Maude may be tough but I'll bet Gibson is pretty fast!!!
Meredith, what's that saying? "Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm."
